Happy Halloween! We have been in class for 4o days. Think back to the start of the year and let us know where you are at with the class? What role did you play this quarter? How did the class meet your expectations?
This class has been a really different experience for me. At some points during the quarter, I felt like we weren't going to be able to ever trust each other, but now I'm starting to believe it's possible. I'm proud of what we've accomplished as a whole. We've gone a long way since the beginning of the year.
it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, but it turned out for the better. The biggest point I realized in this class was that no matter who you were, what you said, or how you did it, it helped us become more efficient in our activities and more trust worthy amongst each other.
I've liked the class overall, so far. I kinda wish we wouldn't dress as much, but I realize that's a pointless wish. Also, the team building activities are interesting.
the class has met my expectaions, its fun to overcome all these challenges. I like seeing all of us working together. i just wish we could do wat we did on friday more often. We're all building up trust, but it needs to be at an even higher level. im up for the challenge
I think our class is really coming together. I was expecting this class to be really fun, and it has been. At first I thought that all the team-building activities would start to get really old, but once we realized they had a purpose for the future of the class it all came together.
This class is becoming a really fun class, and like on Friday, I found myself looking forward to 7th period! I'm excited for the rest of the year because I think we're really starting to trust eachother and working together, and as the activities get more challenging, we can keep building on that.
I like this class so far and I like the team building activities. I think we are getting better with the activities because we are getting to know each other better and trust each other more. Trust is a very good thing to have, especially when we have to trust others when we are climbing up on the wall, so I think these activities are helping us become more prepared. -Cassie L.
I think we have come a long way from the beginig of the year. I still don't think we trust everyone but I didn't think we could even get this far. The activity on Friday was a big step for us. Now we are all really excited for the next challenge. Zoi
This class is fun, and i think it started out kind of slow in the beginning but now that we've picked up some pace its beneficial to us in the fact that i alone see myself trusting more and more people every day. Im excited to see what else we will all acomplish in the rest of the year.
I like how the focus of this class is teamwork and I have really enjoyed getting to know more more people. I think our class is getting stronger each day.

I was skeptical about the amount of progress that we would make as a whole, but I am proud to say that we certainly came a long way. I know that there will be more challenges ahead,in which we will need to demonstrate more trust and responsibility. But now, I can safely think that we will be able to achieve this as the year progresses.
I thought the beginning of the year was kind of slow. I wasn't sure I would like the class because I wasn't too good of friends with anyone, but I feel a lot more comfortable with everyone now. I like how the team-building activites have gotten progressively more challenging because it has helped everyone trust each other.
At the beginning of the year, it was hard to adjust to doing team building activities instead of things we did in gym classes before. I think this class is fun, and more mentally and emotionally demanding than physically demanding. I like that we do activities that help us open up to each other and learn to trust each other. We all seem to be having fun and encouraging each other.

When I first entered the class I only knew one person and wanted to drop out. I have gotten so close to a lot of people, and the class has been a lot of fun. It has definetly taught me how to work better with others and trust other people more. -Kayla
I have made many new friends this quarter, and met a bunch of people I didn't know at all. This class has been fun so far, and we have become pretty comfortable with eachother. I have learned a lot about working with a group and helping other people. I hope as the year goes on we become even closer and more trusting of eachother.
In the start of the year i really didnt know what to expect from this class except that it was cool and you got to rock climb because thats what i heard. I think so far this year has been great and i really like our class! All the team building exercises really help us get to know eachother and i think by the time we are rock climbing we will have a strong class bond. wooooo keep up the good work everyone!
I'm proud of where we are compared to the beginning of the year. We're finally beginning to trust each other, and with the harder activities we're learning how much we really need that.
I think the class has made a lot of improvements. Especally since the first few days when we couldn't even keep a ball in the air and now we're lifting people over walls! I think a lot of people feel much more comfortable and are able to put themselves out there in the class which helps us make it through more challenging activities. This quarter I played the Mia card? Trying to get the class going, putting myself out there when others didn't want to? -Mia
Second quarter is over already ! Hahah, this is kinda late. But I'm kinda loving outdoor adv, I'm kinda not. Everything that we do in class are kind of difficult for me. I'm always afraid, but I end up doing it and thinking to myself, "Wow, that wasn't that bad. :)"
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.
this class is as fun as i thought it woiuld be. i am hoping people can start trusting me and i am starting to trust my class mates.
