i learned it is way more fun to be involved then to just sit on the sidelines until the class absolutly needs your help. when everyone is participating it is more enjoyable.
I really like that more and more people are starting to get involved and trying to help out because it makes all the activities more fun:) I think this activity helped us gain more trust for eachother, which is going to become crucial as the activities start getting challenging.
This activity was really enjoyable. It was amazing how we came together as a class, and helped each other get over the wall. I agree that when we all show equal involvement in any activity, it becomes much more enjoyable. I think that this time, we all understood each others fears and were able to work through them effectively.
I liked this activity. I was scared to do it at first, but with the encouragement and team effort of the class. They made it fun for me and I was proud of myself when I did get over the wall and it let me gain so much trust with the class. -Cassie
I learned that the my peers are all trustworthy. I think we all gained a lot of trust in doing this activity, and that's greaat! cuz we gonna need that in the future. The activity also showed how it's a team effort, not just about one person.
This activity showed us that we an trust each other a lot more than me thought we could. I learned that it is possible to , pardon the pun, break down new walls and reach new heights.
I was sick both days so i didn't get to do the activity, but when i was sitting out friday it looked like it got completed really fast because no one really had any problems with trusting each other.
I was really skeptical at first with this activity, but after putting a little more faith in my classmates i saw that it really wasn't bad at all. I am really starting to trust other people in the class more and I am looking forward to the things to come.
I thought this was the most successful class activity so far because everyone participated and we all had a great time working as a team. Also, I thought that the trust level was much higher!
in this activity you really have to put your trust in people when they were carrying you from one wall to the other to not drop you and my ability to trust people expanded in this activity . this activity also proved to our class that we can accomplish any task as long as we work together. In this activity you learn who you can trust, and that you should trust yourself and be confident. We all worked together and kept an open mind about trying different things. I'm really excited for the more challenging activities throughout the year.
I finally began to see people trying to be actively involved in team-building activities and be committed to what they were doing. Because of this, we got things done faster and we had a lot of fun while we did it. Our class is also starting to trust one another more easily and I found encouragement and support coming from the unlikeliest of people. I think our class is starting to progress.
I really liked how almost everyone was into making it over and not just waiting until they absolutely had to go over the wall. I also think we're all starting to trust each other a lot more and getting to know each other a lot better. I hope the activities keep getting more fun like this! :)
I liked how everyone was cheering eachother on and showing not only physical support but mental support as well. I think everyone was thinking it was in impossible task but once we got going we came down with a system and safely got everyone over.
I learned that Connor has incredible upper body strength! This activity was fun and I'm glad we were able to get EVERYONE over and I'm glad the people who struggled over came their fears and made it over in the end it really shows the progress we've made as a class. -Mia
This activity definitely showed our trust in others. Some people were a little insecure about their weight, but they later began to realize they could trust the person lifting them not to make fun of them. I think this was a great step.
I liked the wall activity. I didn't think that I was going to be able to make it over, but I did with the help of my classmates. It was fun encouraging people and seeing most of the class make it over successfully with no one getting hurt. Kayla Aeschliman
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.
