  1. I thought it was good to see what your peers thought of you in a teamwork setting. It will help me in the future to know what to work on.

  2. I thought that the activity really showed me exactly what people do think of me in a way. I thought it was good to see that though so now I know personally what I need to work on. The only thing that sort of bothered me was the fact that some of the people don't know me outside of a gym class setting so they don't really know everything about me. Other then that I liked the activity overall.

  3. The activity was good to see how your teammates thought of you and what other people think you need to work on, but some of the questions were hard to answer because we don't know eachother well enough as people outside of our climbing groups. But it was a good way to bond with our groups.

  5. I thought the peer evaluation was helpful. It showed me the things that I need to improve on as a person.Sometimes the truth hurts but it's necessary to know in order to move on. :)

  6. I thought the peer evaluation was okay. I pretty much predicted what numbers I would get for each category, except that they were typically higher than my personal opinion scores. This activity didn't seem good or bad to me. Honestly, it didn't really affect me that much.

  7. All the numbers that I got were pretty much understandable and what I expected. This activity gave me a chance to think more about other people in my group.

  8. I liked seeing my peer evaluation sheet. Overall I think it was accurate and the sheet reminded me on what I should and should not work on.

  9. The evaluation was alright. Some of the questions didn't seem like they pertained to our groups though. Like the "feelings" questions. No one really had to express any deep feelings at anytime, so people just put 4's.

  10. I thought that the peer evaluation sheet
was very helpful. I have only been in this gym class for only one quarter, so it was nice to see what others think of me during the class. I thought my peers were pretty accurate, and now I know how to change for the better.

  11. the evaluation sheet was a nice way to see how and what people think about you. I was surprised by how high people scored me because when i scored myself it was much lower.

  12. I think this activity helped a little beacuse it showed me what other people think I should change about myself. However, I didn't agree with everything. I think that a lot of the things my group marked me lower on are true-but only in gym. If my group were to see me outside of class they may have a different opinion of who I am.

  13. The peer evaluation mostly showed me that my group is super nice. I scored much lower when I graded myself... But still, it was good to see what my group members thought of me and which areas I need to improve in. Overall: a helpful and insightful activity.

  14. I was actually surprised by what other people put. I'm gonna try to be more excited from now on :P and... more friendly.

  15. Peer evaluation was helpful because sometimes it's hard to recognize our flaws because we focus too much on other people's flaws. During high school is the best time to really look at ourselves and shape into the people we really want to become. I can't do that alone so I appreciate other's imput.

  16. i thought this activity was ok. i guess it was good to hear other peoples opinion on yourself but i didn't think this activity was really necessary.

  17. I think the evaluation sheet was a good way to check our progress so far this year with gettingf to know and trust our teammates. I think none of us wanted to hurt each others feelings though so the ratings might have been a tad high for everybody...

  18. i thought the peer evaluation was a good idea. because regardless of weather i think people were right or wrong i got to see what they are seeing. and i think we all need to look at it that way because i dont think that these evaluations reflect exactly what we are on the inside, but thy give a good idea of how we come across most of the time in this one class.

but yeah, it was good as long everyone was being honest.

  19. i thought that the idea of doing a peer evaluation was ok. it didn't seem very accuate though. i cant really say whether or not the evaulations reflected the true me because i dont they did. i guess knowing someones opinion is good but this activity wasnt helpful. people may have put things just to make people not feel bad or they may not of known the person that well which could also lead to inaccurate results. this wasnt the best activity and it was very boring.

  20. Hannah Fox: I think that it was just a space filler. I mean, it was kind of interesting to see what people thought but in the end it didn't seem accurate. I agree with Nikki with the not making people feel bad thing. I hated evaluating people because it makes me feel bad for thinking badly of a person. I don't like being mean.

  21. I think that the peer evaluations weren't very helpful because most of the time, people just give their members 4's because they want to be nice. However, it was good because we got to think about our teammates and evaluate them in our heads if not on paper.

  22. To be completely honest....i did not like it at all. The numbers my group gave me do not represent me AT ALL. Honestly i was really dissappointed. I guess people just don't know me well enough. But i can't really do much more to change anyone's mind. I come in everyday ready to work and have fun and be safe so i don't plan on changing anything. I realize i have faults, i mean everyone does, and i have a lot. But i've never gotten the responses that i got from this activity before.

  24. i really didnt like it because i feel like there are students that dont like other students in our class for any reason and i feel like this was a way to be mean..or other students just wanted to look cool infront of there friends just to be mean..i feel like students in our class took this as a joke. and i did not like that at all!!!.. i like the facts that our teacher let us pick our group because we feel more confterble and good knowing we could trust other people and i like the fact that the teacher let us grade our selfs the other day..

  25. I remember this peer evaluation thing. I kind of hated it because although it was technically "anonymous," we all knew which evaluation was from which person. This sort of defeated the purpose of it being anonmyous. I thought maybe next time when we're chosen 5 random people to evaluate, much more fair judgements would be made.
