With the work we did on Friday, concerning the values we want to uphold in class as we continue through the year, I want you to give us ideas on how we are going to keep each other accountable for keeping our values alive and real for us as we begin to venture into more challenges. Remember you can use last weeks blog to keep in mind the categories we created.
On another note remember to bring in payment for rollerblading.

we can all remind eachother that we only get out of this class what we put into it and in order to achieve success we all have to maybe sacrifice and remember to trust, respect, and keep an open mind.

Every single one of us has to be willing to contribute to the class to achieve all the goals we came up with. We can keep on reminding ourselves of trust, respect, and open mind.

Make sure we don't slack off, and always have a goal as a class to achieve. That way we don't get lazy.

i agree that we all need to make sacrifices and risks in order to accomplish our goals
ReplyDeleteCadee
we talk about how an activity applies to our values, and we need to always keep them in mind in class.

we all need to be willing to contribute to the class. If a certain challenge thing doesn't go the way we want it to, that will show how we're not keeping the values in mind. We make the class what it is.

I agree with all the above posts. (If I typed anything, it'd pretty much be the same thing others typed, and that's kind of redundant, in my opinion.)

We definitely have an open mind about what we do in this class and trust eachother to help eachother out. If we all help eachother out we can all have a good time.

I think we need to set goals as a class and try to achieve them together with a positive attitude. And also keeping an open mind, trusting, and respecting others.

We all need to participate in our activities and build off one another. We shouldn't be afraid of speaking out, putting our opinions out there, and learning new things.

we all need to work hard in class and show others that it is a friendly place to be.

ReplyDeleteThis class will only be as fun as we make it. So all we have to do is try. That is all you can really ask of anyone. So if everyone tries their best to respect eachother, trust eachother, and keep an open mind towards eachother and class activities, then class will be comfortable and fun.

I think with motivation and support from the rest of our class, each student is going to be successful in taking risks we haven't before such as rock climbing. Making sure everyone is supportive and cheering on eachother is essential for a great class!

I think we should set little goals and that way when we reach them we can feel good about ourselves.

I think we need to set goals for ourselves individually and a class goal that we can all work together to reach. Something reasonable too, nothing too drastic. I also think if we all support each other and take risks we can keep the values alive.

I think that we all have to come into class knowing that no one will judge them. We all should remember what you said about it not being personal. Also, that there is probably one other person in the class that will feel the same way you do when we do an activity: embarassed, scared, etc.

I think that the most important part is to make sure that everyone stays positive and friendly. I know that everyone fits in with their own groups in our class but I think that it is really important to be polite and friendly throughout the whole year. That encompasses all of the rules we talked about, so if we can just focus on not being rude, then I honestly don't think that we need a system to keep our selves responsible.

I think everyone just needs to realize it's not about who acts the coolest or who's the best at something. It's all of us becoming better people and accepting people the way they are. Also, learning to trust people and be able to communicate with them. I think it will get easier as we get to know each other better.

As long as everyone keeps in mind that we aren't going to judge, and that we will get what we put in, it will work out. As a class we need to work on trusting each other more. If we all remind ourselves about our goals and values, then we can get a lot done.
ReplyDelete-Janette
I think if everyone keeps an open mind and is willing to at least try activities with a positive mind, then, we will have a lot more fun and be able to hold each other accountable for our goals.

We should set goals, and achieve them. In order to achieve our goals though, we have to give respect, have an open mind, and trust each other.

We should all realize our own strengths and weaknesses individually, and as a class. We should work towards correcting these things, and be open to different opinions. Certain things should not be taken too personally.
ReplyDeleteAmee Desai
I think everyone should have an open mind and not worry that their classmates are going to judge them. Also everyone should know that they're not alone.
ReplyDeleteKelsey Onesto
no one should judge eachother and we should always stay on track
ReplyDeleteBecca
during conversations, I think we should base our thoughts from another person's comment so they know that we were listening.
